Note 5. Related party transactions

Transactions with key individuals in senior positions

During the period, the Company received technical expert support, clinical services and strategic consulting services from entities related to Board members and former Chief Executive Officers, amounting to SEK 1,090 thousand (1,419).

Of this amount, SEK 1,090 thousand relates to compensation paid to entities associated with the Chairman of the Board and a major shareholder. The compensation relates to clinical participation in S1 surgeries using the Company's products, international training and educational activities, development of surgical instruments, and sales and operational support. The amounts also include reimbursement of travel expenses incurred in connection with these assignments.

The transactions were conducted on arm's length terms and were approved by the Board of Directors without the participation of the concerned Board member. The related costs have been recognized under other external expenses.

Related party relationships

The Parent Company engages in transactions with its subsidiaries relating to intra-group services and transfer pricing adjustments. These transactions are conducted on market terms and in accordance with the arm’s length principle.
